ResolutionControl Property (IFillSurfaceFeatureData)

Gets and sets the quality of the resolution of the fill-surface feature.

Return Value

Valid values: 1, 2, and 3 (see Remarks)

Remarks

Adjusting the quality of the resolution is only available for patches that have not been optimized. See IFillSurfaceFeatureData::OptimizeSurface for details.

 

Specifying a higher value for val:

  • Increases the number of patches defining the surface

  • Improves the quality of the surface profile

  • Increases processing time

  • Increases the size of the file
