Downloading

You can download any file from your library or shared workspace to your computer.

If you want to make changes to a file, you can download it to your computer. Because n!Fuze keeps ID and version information as metadata within the files themselves, you can download and update files from any computer, as long as you can sign into n!Fuze.

There are three types of download action:
  • Download only—The selected file is downloaded to the specified destination folder.
  • Download and open—The selected file is downloaded to the specified destination folder and the opened in SolidWorks.
  • Download and update—If the local version of the selected file is already open in SolidWorks, the cloud version will be downloaded to the original local source folder, updating it with any changes.
Downloading a file does not remove it from the workspace or from your library. Once a file has been downloaded to your computer, any changes will not be recognized by n!Fuze until the updated file is uploaded again.
