Stop the Windows Indexing Service

To make a copy of the Workgroup PDM vault for backup, you must stop the Windows Indexing service.

To stop the Windows Indexing Service:

Right-click My Computer and select Manage.
In the Computer Management dialog box, in the left pane, right-click Indexing Service and select Stop.

Search 'Stop the Windows Indexing Service' in the SOLIDWORKS Knowledge Base.
