Edit User-Defined File References Dialog Box

Use the Edit User-Defined File References dialog box to change or remove references you have added to a file.

To display the dialog box, on the file's Contains tab, click Edit user defined reference .

Toolbar Buttons

The toolbar buttons provide quick access to commands that are also available on the shortcut menu.

SLW_select_files.gif Select Files Opens the Select Files dialog box, where you can specify a wildcard pattern to select files.
SLW_open_file_list.gif Open File List Opens a list of files in Microsoft Excel.
SLW_save_files.gif Save File List Lets you save the file list as a comma-separated .txt file.

File List

To control the column display in the table, right-click any column heading and select or clear the available columns.
File Name Selected file and files referenced by it.
Referenced Indicates whether files are referenced.
Show in Bill of Materials Includes the file in the parent file BOM.
Quantity Quantity of the referenced file.
Found in Location of the referenced files.
