Revoke Transition Dialog Box

Use the Revoke Transition dialog box to revoke a transition you have approved for a parallel transition.

To display this dialog box:

  • In File Explorer, select the file and click Modify > Change State and select a transition that is marked Revoke_transition Revoke.
  • In SolidWorks, in the Task Pane, right-click a file, select Change State and select a transition that is marked Revoke_transition Revoke.
  • Open a file's History dialog box, select an event where you approved a parallel transition, and click Revoke_transition Revoke.
    The Admin user installed by Enterprise PDM can revoke transitions for any user. Other users can only revoke transitions they have approved.

Toolbar Buttons

The toolbar buttons provide quick access to commands that are also available on the shortcut menu.

SLW_select_files.gif Select Files Opens the Select Files dialog box, where you can specify a wildcard pattern to select files.
SLW_open_file_list.gif Open File List Opens a list of files in Microsoft Excel.
SLW_save_files.gif Save File List Lets you save the file list as a comma-separated .txt file.

File List

To display hidden columns in the Change state on files table, right-click any column heading and select hidden columns. Right-click selected columns to hide columns.
File name

List selected files and files referenced by them. For assemblies, the list can include drawings, parts, subassemblies, and SolidWorks Simulation files.

The related drawings can be in the current folder or in a folder elsewhere in the vault. By default, Enterprise PDM checks the entire vault for related drawings. The scope of the search depends on administrative settings.
Result
  • check_CheckIn.gif OK if the transition can be revoked.
  • error_CheckIn.gif if the file is checked out or if a transition is not pending.
To quickly locate files that are checked out or for which transitions are not pending, click Ctrl + the up-arrow or down-arrow on the numeric keypad.
Revoke Removes approval for the transition for the user who runs the Revoke command.
Transitioned by The number of users who have run the transition and the roles those users belong to.
Version File version that was transtitioned.
Checked out by User who has checked out the file.

Approval cannot be revoked if the file is checked out.

Found in Vault folder containing the file.
State Workflow state of the file, for example, Submit for Approval or No Approval Required.
