List Displacement
List the desired displacement component for the active study or mode shapes for the active frequency or buckling studies.
Component
-
Units
. Select the units of the displacement list.
-
Plot Step
. Sets the step number at which the selected result is to be listed. Available only for nonlinear, dynamic and drop test studies.
-
Mode Shape
. Specify the mode number at which you want to list the displacement. Available only for frequency and buckling studies.
Advanced Options
-
Plane, Axis or Coordinate System
. Select a reference plane, an axis, or a coordinate system to list displacement. Used for directional components only.
List Set
Lists translational and rotational results (for shell studies) . Available only if Range is selected under Advanced Options.
To list a displacement component with respect to a reference geometry:
-
If needed, create the reference entity you want to use to list the desired displacement component.
-
Click Simulation, List Results, Displacement.
The List Results dialog box opens.
-
Under Quantity, select Displacement.
-
Under Component, select the displacement component to list and the preferred units.
-
In the FeatureManager design tree, select the reference entity you created in step 1.
Make sure that the reference entity you selected appears in the Plane, Axis or Coordinate System box under Advanced Options.
-
Set the rest of the list options and click OK.
The List Results dialog box opens and a list of the selected displacement component appears. You can change the display units of the displacement by selecting the desired units from the Units menu.
-
Click Save.
The Save As dialog box opens. You can save the list to an Excel file (*.csv) or as a plain text file (*.txt).
-
Click Close.
