Chamfer - Width

The width of the chamfer is too large to recognize.

FeatureWorks has an upper limit on the width of a chamfer it recognizes.

Example

The upper limit that FeatureWorks recognizes for a square chamfer is 490*sqrt(2) meters.

A square chamfer is one with Angle set to 45°. For a square chamfer with Distance set to D:

W = D / sin(45°) = D*sqrt(2)

Chamfer Width

W = Chamfer Width

D = Distance

A = Angle
