Creating a New Library

You can create a new library by selecting whether it is a piping and tubing or electrical library, and adding values for the attributes associated with the library.

  1. Select the type of library you are going to create from the list: Piping & Tubing or Electrical.
  2. Under Covering list, double-click the empty cell under Covering ID.

A row appears with default values for each attribute.

  3. Double-click each cell in the first row, and insert values for the attributes.
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for additional rows.
  5. If you set the Library type to Piping & Tubing:
    1. Under Covering list, select an ID for which you want to set materials.
    2. Under Material list, insert values for the attributes.
  6. Click Save and, in the Save As dialog box, browse to a location and type a name for the library.
  7. Click Save.

  8. Click OK when the Save successful message appears.

The library location and name appears next to the Save button.

  9. Click Finish.
