2D to 3D Toolbar
The 2D to 3D tools help you convert a 2D drawing to a 3D part. Some of the tools can be used in any sketches.

Front. The selected sketch entities become the front view in converting to a 3D part.

Top. The selected sketch entities become the top view in converting to a 3D part.

Right. The selected sketch entities become the right view in converting to a 3D part.

Left. The selected sketch entities become the left view in converting to a 3D part.

Bottom. The selected sketch entities become the bottom view in converting to a 3D part.

Back. The selected sketch entities become the back view in converting to a 3D part.

Auxiliary. The selected sketch entities become an auxiliary view in converting to a 3D part. You must select a line in another view to specify the angle of the auxiliary view.

Create Sketch from Selections. The selected sketch entities become a new sketch. You can extract a sketch, for example, and then modify it before creating a feature.

Repair Sketch. You can fix errors in a sketch so that the sketch can be used to extrude or cut a feature. Typical errors can be overlapping geometry, small gaps, or many small segments that are collected into a single entity.

|
Align Sketch. Select an edge in one view to align to the edge selected in a second view. The order of selection is important.

Extrude. Extrude a feature from the selected sketch entities. You do not have to select a complete sketch.

Cut. Cut a feature from the selected sketch entities. You do not have to select a complete sketch.
