Centerlines

Use centerlines to create symmetrical sketch elements and revolved features, or as construction geometry. You can create multiple radial or diametric dimensions without selecting the centerline each time.

To create a centerline:

  1. Click Centerline art\CLINETOL.gif (Sketch toolbar) or click Tools, Sketch Entities, Centerline.

  2. Click to start the centerline.

  3. Drag, or move the pointer and click, to set the end of the centerline.

To change the centerline properties:

In an open sketch, select a centerline and edit its properties in the Line Properties PropertyManager.
