Example of Extrude - Direction of Extrusion

You can specify extrude direction with 2D and with 3D sketches by specifying a direction vector as the Direction of Extrusion. Direction vectors include:

Cylindrical faces

Linear edges

Reference axes

Vertices

Points in reference geometry

Conical faces

 Sketch points

Linear sketch entities

Reference planes
