Specifying Find Parameters for Boss or Cut Revolves

The Find: Boss Revolve Parameters and the Find: Cut Revolve Parameters dialog boxes let you specify Find parameters for a revolved feature. The following parameters are available:

  • Type. Select a revolve type.

  • Angle. Set a value for the angle of the revolved feature.

    Toggle to change the comparison symbols >, <, and =.

  • Thin Feature. Select to find thin feature revolves. If you select Thin Feature, you can also specify the wall thickness parameter.

For boss or cut revolves created in two directions, only one direction must satisfy the Find criteria for the feature to be found. For example, a boss revolve extends 30° in the first direction and 60° in the second direction. If you Find all revolves < 45°, the boss revolve is found.
