Measure-enabled vs. Measure-disabled
To protect the details of a design, you can make measure-disabled eDrawings files. You can save measure-enabled files as measure-disabled files. However, once a file is saved as measure-disabled, you cannot make it measure-enabled.
To enable Measure:
-
In eDrawings, in the Save As dialog box, select Enable measure.
-
In SolidWorks, in the Save As dialog box, click Options and select Okay to measure this eDrawings file.
To disable Measure:
-
In eDrawings, in the Save As dialog box, clear Enable measure.
If the file is already measure-disabled, the Enable measure option is hidden.
-
In SolidWorks, in the Save As dialog box, click Options and clear Okay to measure this eDrawings file.
