Some planar faces might be thought of as part of a hole. For example, blind holes have a planar face at the base of the hole. Hole chains (such as a counterbored hole) have planar faces at the step change in diameter. However, FeatureWorks considers only cylindrical faces when recognizing holes. Select a cylindrical face for hole recognition.
