Cut Feature

A cut is a feature that removes material from a part or an assembly.

With multibody parts, you can use cuts to create disjoint parts. You can control which parts to keep and which parts are affected by the cut.

You can create a cut by using any of the following:

Extrude
Revolve
Sweep
Loft (from one or more sketches)
Boundary
Thicken feature (from a surface)
Surface
