Add-Ins
Load compatible applications into your SolidWorks software, for the current session or at the next startup, or both. The add-in applications must be installed on your computer.
 You can also load SolidWorks add-ins from the Office Products tab of the CommandManager. This loads the add-in for the current session, but does not set the add-in to be loaded at the next startup.

To use other software applications with SolidWorks:

Click Tools, Add-Ins.

Select or clear applications under Active Add-ins or under Start Up. 
 Selecting the check box under Active Add-ins loads the application for the current session. Selecting the check box under Start Up loads the application for every session.

 Most add-in applications provide additional user interface elements such as CommandManager tabs, Manager Pane tabs, Task Pane tabs, menus, and toolbars.
