Saving Drawing Sheets in SolidWorks eDrawings Files

If a SolidWorks drawing document has multiple sheets, when you publish a SolidWorks eDrawings file, you can select which sheets to save to the eDrawings file.

You must have SolidWorks eDrawings Professional installed to choose the sheets to save. If you have the free eDrawings Viewer, all the sheets are published with the eDrawings file.

To save sheets when you publish eDrawings files:

  1. Click File, Publish eDrawings File ( in the Save flyout toolbar).

  2. In the dialog box, select one of the following:

  • Current sheet.

  • All sheets.

  • Selected sheets. Select from the list below.

  1. Click OK to publish the eDrawings file.

The SolidWorks eDrawings Viewer opens and lists the selected sheets on the Sheets tab .
