Inserting Dimensions

New menu items are available on the shortcut menu when you right-click in a sketch.

Sketch Numeric Input menu_sketch_numeric_input.gif
Displays numeric input fields to specify sizes when creating sketch entities. This is the same option in Tools > Options > System Options > Sketch called Enable on screen numeric input on entity creation.
Add Dimension menu_add_dimension.gif
Displays dimensions when creating sketch entities. Instead of selecting Add dimensions in sketch PropertyManagers, you can right-click in the graphics area and click Add Dimension menu_add_dimension.gif.
Sketch Dimension Driven menu_sketch_dimension_driven.gif
Creates driven dimensions when creating sketch entities. This is helpful when you want some dimensions to be driving and others to be driven because you can switch between the dimension types. In SolidWorks 2011, you could only create driven dimensions after you placed the dimensions.

For Add Dimension and Sketch Dimension Driven to appear in the shortcut menu, when you are using a sketch tool, right-click in the graphics area and click Sketch Numeric Input menu_sketch_numeric_input.gif.
