您必須先安裝 AutoCAD 再安裝 eDrawings。
當您安裝 eDrawings 時，會自動安裝 SolidWorks eDrawings Professional for AutoCAD。 當您開啟 AutoCAD 時，eDrawings Professional for AutoCAD 也會開啟。
使用 eDrawings Professional for AutoCAD 來產生 eDrawings 檔案：
- 從 AutoCAD 工程圖文件之中，執行下列操作之一︰
- 按一下 eDrawings

- 按一下 。
- 在命令列輸入 edw。
新的 eDrawing 檔案在 eDrawings Viewer 中顯示。
- 新的 eDrawings 檔案不會自動儲存；您必須使用 eDrawings Viewer 來儲存它。
- eDrawings Viewer 中與 3D 資料有關的某些工具列和功能表項次會停用，因為 eDrawings 僅支援 AutoCAD 2D 資料。
