Inserting an Auxiliary Section View

To insert an auxiliary section view:

  1. Open install_dir\samples\whatsnew\drawings\sectionview2.slddrw.
  2. Click Section View tool_Section_View_Drawing.gif (Drawing toolbar) or Insert > Drawing View > Section.
  3. In the Section View PropertyManager, click Section.
  4. In Cutting Line, select Auto-start section view if not already selected.
  5. Click Auxiliary Cutting-line-auxiliary.png and move the cutting line and pointer to the location as shown and click.

  6. Move the pointer sectionxpert-pointer.png to the location as shown and click to set the angle of the cutting line.

    If the Section View dialog box appears, click OK.

  7. Drag the preview to the left and click to place the section view.
