Customizing Shortcut Bars

The ability to customize shortcut bars has been improved.

Shortcut bars appear when you press the S key in an open part, assembly, drawing, or sketch.

To customize a shortcut bar:

  1. Click Tools > Customize or right-click the shortcut bar and click Customize.

  2. In the Customize dialog box, on the Shortcut Bars tab, click one of the following:
    • Part tool_filter_part
    • Assembly tool_filter_assembly.png
    • Drawing tool_filter_drawing.png
    • Sketch sketch_customize_shortcut_bar.gif

    The shortcut bar appears.

  3. For Toolbar, select a command group and drag the desired buttons onto the shortcut bar.
To remove buttons from the shortcut bars, drag the button onto the graphics area until a red X appears.
