Parameters

Option

IDimXpertDimensionOption or Null to dimension the location of the face along an axis normal to the locating feature and to place the dimension text at a default position.

Return Value

Before calling this API:

1. Call IDimXpertPart::GetDimOption to get an instance of IDimXpertDimensionOption.
2. For linear location dimensions set IDimXpertDimensionOption::TextPosition or IDimXpertDimensionOption::DimensionPositionOption (if both are set, only DimensionPositionOption is in force). For angular location dimensions, set IDimXpertDimensionOption::TextPosition.
3. Populate the Option parameter with this instance of IDimXpertDimensionOption.
4. Multi-select:
   1. the face whose location you want to dimension
   2. the locating feature
