SolidWorks eDrawings Professional Overview

SolidWorks eDrawings Professional is an optional set of tools that enhances the SolidWorks eDrawings application.

This information is specific to one or more CAD systems. See the SolidWorks eDrawings Functionality Matrix for availability information.
The following tools and options are available only in the Professional version:
  • Markup Tools
  • Move Component
  • Measure
  • Cross Section
  • Exploded Views
  • Stamps
  • Multiple drawing sheet options
  • Multiple configuration options
  • SolidWorks Motion Studies animations
  • Password Protected SolidWorks eDrawings Files
  • SolidNetwork License (SNL). SNL supports SolidWorks eDrawings Professional. SNL allows users to install more seats of the SolidWorks eDrawings Professional software than they have licenses for, by floating the use of those seats without exceeding the number of licenses purchased. The SolidWorks eDrawings Viewer title bar displays SolidWorks eDrawings Professional when you are using that version of the product.

Online Help pages for SolidWorks eDrawings Professional tools contain the Logo_pro.gif logo in the title.

Files that you create with SolidWorks eDrawings Professional are review-enabled.
