Edit box Dialog Box

Use the Edit box dialog box to display a text box containing a prompt string you specify.

To display this dialog box:

Click Add in the Edit Action dialog box, then choose Edit Box and click OK.

The specified edit box displays for the user who triggers the action. The text the user enters is stored in a Dispatch runtime variable you specify.

Prompt string

Specifies the text box string displayed to the user who triggers the action.

Variable name

Lets you specify a runtime variable to contain the text string the user enters. Select an existing runtime variable from the dropdown list or click Right Arrow Icon to define a new runtime variable.
