Adding Settings after Creating a Vault

You can add configuration settings after a vault has been created by importing settings from the Default Data and Default Card directories.

These settings determine the cards, bills of materials formats, tasks, and add-ins available in the vault.

To add settings:

  • Import default cards to add file, folder, item, and search cards.
  • Import default data settings to add bills of materials formats, tasks, and add-ins.

    The following tables identify the vault creation options, the vault settings that correspond to them, and the results in the Administration tool when you import the settings.

  • Adding Default Cards

    You can add cards after a vault has been created by importing settings from the Default Card directory.

  • Adding Default Data Settings

    Add bills of materials formats, add-ins and the Convert and Print tasks after a vault has been created by importing settings from the Default Data directory.

  • Country Codes

    Files in the Enterprise PDM Default Cards and Default Data folders are identified by country codes that precede the file extension.
