Selecting the Mirror Plane and Components

First you select the mirror plane and the components to mirror or copy.

To mirror components:

  1. In an open assembly document, click Mirror Components (Assembly toolbar) or Insert > Mirror Components.

    The Mirror Components PropertyManager appears.

  2. In the PropertyManager, for Mirror plane, select a plane or planar face as the entity to mirror about.
  3. For Components to Mirror, select one or more components to mirror or copy.

    You can select from the graphics area or from the FeatureManager design tree. If you select a subassembly, then all of its components are selected as well. You can select multiple components and create copies of some and opposite-hand versions of others. You can select a mix of components - some to be copied, others to create opposite-hand versions of.

  4. Click Next .

    The PropertyManager page changes to Step2: Set Orientation.
