Costing Template Editor for Multibody Parts

Use the Costing Template Editor to create and edit templates for use with the Costing tool for multibody parts.

To display the Costing Template Editor:
  1. From a multibody part, click Costing tool_costing_tools.gif (Tools toolbar or the Evaluate tab on the CommandManager).
  2. In the Costing Task Pane, under Costing Templates, click Launch Template Editor.

You can specify the file location for Costing templates in Tools > Options > System Options > File Locations . In Show folders for, select Costing templates to add or delete a location. The default Costing template folder is install_dir\lang\language\Costing templates.

Contents

  • General

    Use the General screen in the Costing Template Editor to set the units, currency, and template location options.

  • Custom

    Use the Custom screen in the Costing Template Editor to define additional operations that contribute to a part's manufacturing cost, such as powder coating.
