Creates solids by revolving two-dimensional objects about an axis.
Specify:
1 |
Axis of revolution - Object / X / Y / <Start point of axis>
Object
Select an existing line or line segment
X
Uses the positive X axis
Y
Uses the positive Y axis
<Start point of axis>
Specify a point
<End point of axis>
Specify a second point
2 |
Angle of revolution <full circle> |
You can revolve polygons, circles, ellipses, and closed splines. You can revolve only one object at a time.
The right-hand rule determines the direction of rotation. The positive direction is:
- Object - from the closest to the farthest endpoint of the line
-
X - positive X axis direction
-
Y - positive Y axis direction
- Specified axis - from the first point to the second point
Specify the angle of revolution in degrees.
