To create a formboard drawing of an electrical route to scale:
- With an electrical routing assembly open, click Flatten Route
(Electrical Routing toolbar).
- In Flatten Type, select Manufacture.

In Flatten Parameters, select sketch segment
and a center point 
along the sketch segment.
When you create the drawing, the assembly is flattened from this reference segment.

In Flatten Parameters, enter the width
and height 
of the rectangle defining the formboard sketch size.
When you create the formboard drawing or assembly, this rectangle is displayed with a dashed border.

Select a Horizontal
or Vertical 
orientation for the segment.
- Select Drawing Options and Flatten Options, and click
.The flattened assembly and scaled formboard drawing appear.
- Click to close the Drawing View PropertyManager.
You can improve the scaled flattened route by moving the center of the rectangle, or by changing the curvature or angle of the route segments.
The connectors shown in the manufacture-style flattened route do not display the actual connector location, which is closer to the harness.
