Constraining a Style Spline

You can constrain a style spline by dimensioning line segments in the control polygon.

To constrain line segments in a control polygon:

  1. In an open sketch, click Smart Dimension (Dimensions/Relations toolbar) or Tools > Dimensions > Smart.
  2. Click a line segment in the control polygon.

  3. Move the pointer to show the dimension preview.
  4. Set the value in the Modify dialog box and click ok.png.

You can continue to place more dimensions, such as angular dimensions.
