Examining the Shadows

Next, you drag the timeline and examine the shadow exposure.

  1. To zoom in on the roof area, click Zoom to Area tool_Zoom_to_Area_View.png (View toolbar).

  2. Drag the timeline and inspect the shadow movement throughout the day:

    The best locations for the panels appear to be south-facing, away from the southwest corner of the building, and outside of the shadows of other panels and the HVAC.
