Task Properties - Scheduling

Use the Scheduling page to specify when to execute the task you are configuring.

To display this page:

Right-click Tasks and click New Task. For Add-in, select an add-in that supports scheduling. In the left pane, click Scheduling.

This task is not scheduled To execute an unscheduled task:
  • Configure the task to be executed by users.
  • Add the task to workflow transition actions.

    See Launching a Task Using a Workflow.

  • Run the task from the Task List dialog box.

    See Executing an On-Demand Task.

This task should be executed once on Date and time to execute task.

Use the calendar control to set the date and the time list to select a time.

This task should be executed every Interval, date, and time of recurring task.
Use the drop-down lists to select:
  • A day and time

    You can select a specific day of the week or an interval. For example, you can select Wednesday or Fourth day.

  • Start time

    Use the calendar control to change the date and the time list to select a time.

  • End time

    Select the check box to specify an end date and time for task execution.

    Clear the check box to run the task repeatedly.

    Use the calendar control to change the date and the time list to select a time.

Advanced schedule Select to enable Details, which displays the Advanced Schedule dialog box where you can set up multiple occurrences of the task.
