Analysis Research

The Analysis Research tab in the Task Pane provides you with resources and links to online knowledge base. You can also access the same functionality by clicking Research on the Simulation menu.

Online Resources

Request License Online Links to the online Simulation Subscription Service - License Request Form page in which you can submit a request for a license
Connect to SolidWorks Simulation Web Site Links to the SolidWorks Simulation Web site
Communities Links to the online SolidWorks Simulation Community Groups page
Downloads Links to the online SolidWorks Simulation Subscription Support - Download page

Knowledge Base

You can search the online SolidWorks Simulation knowledge database by typing the keywords in the Search for box and clicking Go. The search results are listed on the web browser.

You can also search for materials by their name, for example alloy steel or zirconia in Search Matweb. The search results are displayed on the browser by connecting to the matweb web site. You can further explore their properties by clicking on the hyperlinks.

Use the Previous and Next options to navigate through the search results.
