Check in file Dialog Box

Use the Check in file dialog box to specify the files to be checked into the vault as part of the triggered action.

To display this dialog box:

Click Add in the Edit Action dialog box, then choose Check in file and click OK.

The action checks in a file only if the current user has the file checked out. If the user made changes, a new version is created using the specified comment. If the user did not make changes, the check out is cancelled. If the current user does not have the file checked out, an error dialog displays.

Filename

Specifies one or more filenames to be checked in when the action is triggered. Enter the entire path, including the filename. Click right arrow to insert variables. Defined variables must be enclosed with percent signs (%), for example, %current_folder%\%current_file%.

Comment

Specifies the comment to be used when the file is checked in. Click right arrow to insert variables.
