Enterprise PDM Commands

When the SOLIDWORKS Enterprise PDM client is installed, commands that are specific to Enterprise PDM are added to menus above the right pane and to short cut menus.

These topics describe the default menu organization and commands.

You can change how you access EPDM commands by modifying your user settings in the Enterprise PDM Administration tool.

  • Enterprise PDM Menus

    To access Enterprise PDM functions, use the Enterprise PDM menus located above the right pane. Only commands that are applicable to selected files and folders are accessible in the menus.

  • Vault Shortcut Menu

    In the navigation pane folder tree, right-click a vault to access the vault shortcut menu.

  • File and Folder Shortcut Menu

    In the file view, right-click a file or folder to access the shortcut menu.

  • File View Shortcut Menu

    In the file view background, right-click in the blank area outside any file name or icon to access the file view shortcut menu.
