Specifying Find Parameters for Boss or Cut Lofts

The Find: Boss Loft Parameters and Find: Cut Loft Parameters dialog boxes let you specify Find parameters for loft features. The following parameters are available:

Start Constraint

  Start constraint Select a starting constraint type.
  Start constraint length Set a value for the start constraint length.

Toggle greater_than.gif to change the comparison symbols >, <, and =.

End constraint

  End constraint Select an ending constraint type.
  End constraint length Set a value for the end constraint length.

Toggle greater_than.gif to change the comparison symbols, if necessary.

Options

  Merge tangent faces Select a setting to find lofts with the specified maintain tangency option.
  Close loft Select a setting to find lofts with the specified close loft option.
  Merge result Select a setting to find lofts with the specified merge result option.

Thin Feature

  Thin Feature Select to find thin feature lofts.
  Type Select a type of thin feature loft.
  Direction Select the loft direction. This is available only if One-Direction is selected in Type.
  Wall thickness Set a value for the wall thickness of the loft.

Toggle greater_than.gif to change the comparison symbols, if necessary.
