Temporarily Fix Components to Limit Dynamic Motion

You can temporarily fix or group components or subassemblies to test motion or design setup directly from the top-level assembly.

In an assembly, click Move Component or Rotate Component (Assembly toolbar) or Tools > Component > Move or Tools > Component > Rotate . In the PropertyManager, select Temporary Fix/Group, and set options.
