Rotating Mesh

You can simulate Fluid Driving motion with enhanced rotating regions.

The "sliding mesh" mode simulates rotating equipment where fluid flow entering the rotor is highly non symmetric with regard to the axis of rotation.

Since angular velocity can be dependent on time, you can simulate motion at a specified angle.

To use the rotating mesh mode:

  1. In the General Settings dialog box, under Analysis, select Rotation.
  2. Select Local Region (Sliding Mesh).
