Test Settings

Use the Test Settings dialog box to specify a mail recipient to test SMTP settings.

To display this dialog box:

On the SMTP tab of the Message System dialog box, click Test Settings.

Recipient Email address of logged in user.

If the email address is not specified in the user's properties, type the address.
OK If SMTP is correctly configured, sends a notification to the user.

If the notification cannot be sent, an error message is displayed.
