Selecting by Size of Components

You can select all components that are smaller than a specified percentage of the size of the assembly's bounding box.

To select assembly components by size:

  1. Click Tools > Component Selection > Select by Size.
  2. In the dialog box, set the following options:
      Option Description
      Percent of assembly size Selects all components that are smaller than the specified percentage of the size of the assembly's bounding box. Move the slider to change the percentage.
      Dynamic selection Displays a preview of your selections as you change Percent of assembly size.
    Preview selection (Available when Dynamic selection is not selected.) Displays a preview of your selections.
      Selected Displays the number of components selected.
  3. Click OK.
    The components that are smaller than the percentage of assembly size you enter are selected.
