Network Monitor Dialog Box - Tasks/Network

Use the Tasks/Network tab to view and manage distributed tasks.

To open this dialog box from the Task Scheduler, click Network Monitor on the toolbar. The Tasks/Network tab is accessible if you are connected as a node computer or coordinator.

Click Network Monitor in the Windows system tray to display a quick summary of task progress.

Task List

The task list contains finished, running, and scheduled distributed tasks. Click at a task to show subtasks.

  Show task To filter by status, select All, Finished, Scheduled, or In Progress.
Delete Deletes a selected finished task or cancels a running or pending task. Canceling a sub-task cancels the entire task.
Print Prints a report for the selected task.
Task Scheduler Opens the Task Scheduler.

Network List

The Network list contains machine name, user name, and status information for computers in the distributed group. Machines with a status of Idle are available for conversion tasks. Busy machines are unavailable.

Your computer has a status of Busy if you are running programs.

Network Computers Toolbar

Pause tasks Pause tasks on your system after selecting your computer name.
Allow tasks For busy or paused computers, select your computer name and click Allow tasks to join the distributed conversion.
