Search View

The Search tool helps you locate the files and folders based on the search string.

To open the search screen, click the search icon on the file or folder list screen.

Search View

Search For Lets you type a search string.
Search Searches for a file or a folder based on the search string.
Searches Within Displays the variables on which the search tool performs searches.

The search is always performed on file names and folder names. Administrator can configure Web.config file to set SearchDataCardVariables to add more search parameters.

If FreeSearch is set to true, an administrator can set a string instead of variable names. For example, SearchDataCardVariables can be set to All Variables.
