Sending Manual Notifications

You can send an immediate notification to users.

Click the SOLIDWORKS PDM icon in the notification area, at the far right of the taskbar, and click Inbox.

Another way to access the Inbox is by clicking Tools > Inbox .
In the Inbox, click File > New Message ( in the toolbar).

To send a notification without using the Inbox, click Tools > Notify > A Colleague .
For To, select a user.
Type a subject and message and click Send.
