The SOLIDWORKS PDM Add-in for SOLIDWORKS provides access to the vault in SOLIDWORKS.

Activate the SOLIDWORKS PDM add-in to access source control and workflow tools within SOLIDWORKS.
The SOLIDWORKS PDM toolbar is displayed at the top of the Task Pane.
From the SOLIDWORKS menu bar, select Tools > SOLIDWORKS PDM to display the following commands.
The Task Pane lets you view file variables and perform commands from a shortcut menu.
The SOLIDWORKS PDM Add-in Options let you customize the add-in interface and commands.
When you edit files and check them in from SOLIDWORKS, you can select to have SOLIDWORKS PDM close the files after the check in operation completes, rather than reload them.
