The CircuitWorks tree view is a hierarchical display of ECAD data.
To display the tree:
Open an ECAD file. The tree is on the left side of the CircuitWorks application.
From the tree, you can:

Double-click a parent item or click the
icon to display its children.
- Click an item to highlight it in the preview image.
- Right-click an item to select a command.

Tree View Search Filter
You can search for components in the tree view by using the search filter
at the top of the tree.
- Begin to type characters that are in the name of the component you want to find.
As you type, a search-ahead capability narrows the component list in the tree view to only components whose names contain the characters you type.
- To clear the search and restore the full list of components, click
.
Tree Commands
You can perform operations from the tree by right-clicking an item:

Sort tree items:- Ascending (alphabetical order, A-Z)
