Meshing a Model

  1. In the Simulation study tree, right-click Mesh and select Create Mesh ST_Create_Mesh.gif .
  2. Under Mesh Density, move the slider to adjust the mesh density or alternatively click Reset to reset the element size to default value.
  3. Under Mesh Parameters, select Standard mesh or Curvature based mesh.
  4. Modify meshing parameters as required.
  5. To view or modify meshing options, expand Advanced and select the desired settings.
  6. Under Options select:
    • Save settings without meshing to save the settings but not mesh the model, or
    • Run (solve) the analysis to run the analysis after meshing.
  7. Click .
