Scheduling Animations

To schedule saving animations:

  1. Click Schedule in the Save Animation to File dialog box.
  2. Select options in the Video Compression dialog box and click OK.
  3. In the Schedule Animation dialog box:
    1. Enter a title for the task.
    2. Browse to the location in which to save the file.
    3. Set the Start Time and Start Date.
    4. Click Finish.
  4. From the Windows Start menu, click All Programs > SOLIDWORKS <version> > SOLIDWORKS Tools > SOLIDWORKS Task Scheduler.
  5. In the SOLIDWORKS Task Scheduler:
    1. In the Tasks pane, for Show Tasks, select Scheduled.
    2. Click the scheduled animation task.
    3. In the Render/Animation Task Settings dialog box, verify that the scheduled date is later than the current date and click OK.
  6. Close the SOLIDWORKS Task Scheduler.
