Page-Level Attributes

Specify the type of template you are creating (part, assembly, or drawing), and optionally create a message to appear at the top of the tab.

Control Attributes

Message Enter text for a message to appear in a yellow box at the top of the Custom Properties tab when a user accesses the tab in SOLIDWORKS. The message box sizes automatically to fit the text you type. If you do not type any text, no message box appears.
Type Select the type of SOLIDWORKS document for which the tab is intended:
  • Part
  • Assembly
  • Drawing
  • Weldment
