Controlling Gauge Table Settings

Only one gauge table is allowed per multibody sheet metal part. The gauge table is determined by the first sheet metal body that you create in the part.

Each body in the part can use different gauges from the table.

To control the gauge table settings:

  1. In the FeatureManager design tree, right-click the Sheet-Metal FM_shm_sheetmetal_folder parent folder and click Edit Feature menu_Edit_Feature.gif.
  2. In the PropertyManager, under Sheet Metal Gauges:
    1. Select Use gauge table.
    2. In Select Table , select a gauge table or browse to the table.
    3. Select Propagate the gauge table to dependent sheet metal features.
The option, Propagate the gauge table to dependent sheet metal features, affects sheet metal bodies whose Bend Allowance is set to Override default parameters. When cleared, the option affects only those sheet metal bodies that have Override default parameters cleared.
  3. To override the gauge table setting in dependent sheet metal feature:
    1. In the FeatureManager design tree, right-click the dependent Sheet-Metaln feature below the parent folder and click Edit Feature menu_Edit_Feature.gif.
    2. In the PropertyManager, under Sheet Metal Gauges, select or clear Use gauge table.
