Properties Side Panels

New side panels display on the right side of the interface to help you find information faster and take actions with fewer clicks.

The panels show properties of objects such as items on document and component trees, and graphic entities and symbols in the graphics area. Properties are listed in a grid format.

Depending on the type of entity, one or more tabs provide access to different properties. For example, the property panel for a line (wire) includes tabs for wire style, cable, equipotential lines, and graphical properties. Tabs for multiple object types display when you select two or more objects.

The panels display on the right side of the interface by default, but you can move them and save the modified panel layout.

You can access the panels from the SOLIDWORKS Electrical CommandManager.
